A review conducted by Linkage Research and Consulting, commissioned by the Plant Based Foods Association (PBFA), of more than 7,000 public comments to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the use of dairy terms for plant-based milks and other dairy alternatives, found that an overwhelming majority of the submissions are in favor of allowing plant-based foods to use dairy terms on labels
Looking back on PBFA’s third year, I am so proud to share all the tremendous progress we have made. We ended year three with 135 company members, more than 100 affiliate and investor members, and firmly solidified our role as the unifying voice in the growing plant-based foods industry.
We congratulate Greenleaf and Oatly on their new production facilities and look forward to shining a light on how other plant-based companies are reshaping the food economy.
